Dates

- The 2026-2027 school year runs from mid August 2026 - mid June 2027 (10 months)

- Summer care is a separate enrollment, as many families choose to travel in the summer.

- While most families begin in August at the beginning of the school year, we do offer rolling admission, space permitted.

- Five Day Program: Monday – Friday (Partial week enrollment available—please inquire for details.)

Half-Day: 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Full-Day: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM

The Classrooms

Kita Alef

2s Classroom

(children need to be 18 months by Sept. 1st)

In Kita Alef, children dive into an engaging, hands‑on learning experience designed to match the incredible growth and curiosity that come with turning two, guided by caring teachers who create a warm, nurturing space where little ones feel safe and supported as they explore more complex learning experiences. At this stage of rapid development—from expanding language and longer attention spans to greater physical coordination—our thoughtfully designed activities encourage exploration, independence, and connection through sensory play, creative art, early science experiments, music, block building, and imaginative play.

We support toddlers’ natural drive toward autonomy by giving them plenty of opportunities to make choices throughout the day and practice self‑care routines at their own pace, while our educators model rich, expressive language to help children absorb and use new words for expressing emotions, asking questions, and building connections with peers.

Singing, stories, and lots of open-ended art experiences help children understand core literacy, science, and math concepts. As their verbal skills blossom, we encourage children to ask questions and introduce new vocabulary.

As children start approaching their 3rd birthday, play becomes more intentional, and we offer thoughtful opportunities for turn‑taking, cooperation, and empathy so children can begin to navigate early friendships with gentle guidance.

Artistic exploration deepens through a variety of materials and tools that foster creativity, fine motor skills, and confidence, while our balance of structure and freedom helps our young learners understand routines, take responsibility for their space, and build self‑awareness and resilience.

Kita Bet

3-5yrs classroom

(children need to be 36 months by Sept. 1st)

In our Kitah Bet program, children engage in hands‑on activities that build fine motor skills, spark creativity, and introduce early math concepts in immersive and creative ways as children ready themselves for kindergarten.

We support each child’s literacy development through rich story experiences and read‑alouds. We focus on phonemic awareness—an essential skill for reading and writing—and provide daily opportunities to practice sounding out and writing words. Children express themselves through inventive spelling as they label artwork, write menus, and create signs during dramatic play.

Our process‑oriented art with more sophisticated art materials allows children to think more deeply about their creations and they often revisit projects over time. Using smaller, more precise artistic tools helps develop their fine motor control as well as artistic confidence.

Collaboration and group discussions help children grow socially and emotionally through turn‑taking, listening, and considering different viewpoints.

Children spend more time understanding themselves and others through our monthly self portraits and group discussions.

Our thoughtfully organized classroom fosters independence, with children taking pride in everyday responsibilities like caring for their own belongings and play spaces—building confidence, ownership, and community.
